Gupta honed his skills during a significant tenure at Sunray Group, where he served as Asset Manager under the guidance of, Ray Gupta. Over a remarkable nine-year span, Gupta undertook a multitude of responsibilities, managing operations, staffing, construction, and repositioning initiatives across multiple assets.
An alumnus of the University of Toronto, Gupta holds a degree in Business Finance (BBA). His commitment to excellence is evident in the successful completion of $175 million worth of hotel acquisitions between 2019 and 2020, showcasing a strategic and forward-thinking approach to business during challenging times.
Notably, Gupta led the charge on capital expenditure and repositioning programs totaling $65 million across four hotels from 2020 to 2023.
